The Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts (CFWM) believes that equal opportunity is essential for the continuing success of our organization and for the health and vibrancy of our community.
It is the policy of CFWM to comply with state and federal laws that preclude discrimination because of race, color, religious creed, religion, national origin, sex, ancestry, age, pregnancy or pregnancy related conditions, sexual orientation, gender identity, handicap (disability), mental illness, military status, citizenship, immigration status, genetic information or any other protected status under federal or state laws.
We recognize that organizations to whom we make grants may identify particular needs in the community and target programs or services to particular populations based on those needs; however, the programs and services must be open to all people within those targeted populations.
This policy applies to all activities of CFWM including, but not limited to, employment, selection of volunteers, grantmaking, purchasing and selection of vendors or consultants.
