The Vision of the Capacity Program
The Capacity Program was created to promote a vibrant non-profit sector in the Pioneer Valley of Massachusetts. The program provides resources and support so that organizations can maximize their missions, and in turn, enrich the quality of life of people in Hampden, Hampshire and Franklin counties.
The Capacity Program uses a mix of strategies to assist organizations. These include:
- Targeted grant making
- Workshops (standalone offerings; for individuals or teams associated with organizations serving the region)
- Training series (multiple sessions with thematic cohesion and defined cohort of participants)
We will decide what activities to undertake by using two important screens in regards to organizations serving the region:
- Address a high need
- Achieve high impact
The application process for participation in the 4-part training series for medium-sized non-profit organizations is closed.
Please look for upcoming workshop on Measuring Impact that will be open to all interested organizations (depending upon space availability)
