Berkshire County ARC: Facing COVID-19, the staff didn’t flinch

Donors to the COVID-19 Response Fund, hosted by the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts, have contributed more than $8 million (and counting!) to help nonprofits serving residents of Franklin, Hampden, and Hampshire recover from the challenges of the pandemic. One of the hundreds of grants from the fund went to Berkshire County ARC for critical personal protective equipment (PPE) for their programs in Hampden County.

Watch Kenneth Singer, president and CEO of Berkshire County ARC, describe the extraordinary efforts of their staff during the pandemic to keep people with disabilities and their families safe and engaged at a difficult time. We are so grateful for their work and for the Response Fund donors who supported them.
