All Out Adventures Reimagines Work to Navigate Through Pandemic
We caught up with Karen Foster, executive director of All Out Adventures, on the Norwottuck Rail Trail this month during their first collaborative cycling program with the Department of Conservation and Recreation’s Universal Access Program since pre-COVID.
Early last year as the pandemic impacted every facet of the organization, All Out Adventures received support through a stabilization grant from the Community Foundation. Stabilization grants are meant to provide up to six months of unrestricted general operating support to community partners recovering from the COVID-19 health crisis and its economic impact.
All Out Adventure promotes health, community, and independence for people with disabilities and their family and friends through outdoor recreation.
Watch us chat trailside with Karen as she talks about the organization’s mission, trials endured, and the ways All Out Adventures was able to weather the changes.
