How are refunds handled during the event?
During the event, Valley Gives will create a log for the refunds needing to be issued and notify Kimbia when the list is complete. Kimbia will work on processing all refunds on the log within the next 48 hours. For donations over $1,000 that occur and need to be refunded immediately, contact Valley Gives at email@example.com so the transaction can be voided and the amount not processed-reviewed during TKF business hours.
How are refunds handled post event?
Refund requests after the event should be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org. Donors should put Refund Request and Valley Gives in the subject line and include the name, amount, and organization they gave to. Please also include their email address so that the refund receipt can be sent to them directly.
How long after the event will refund requests be honored?
Checks are sent out on the 15th of the following month after the event. We allow refunds up until the 10th of the following month.
