The Kimbia Foundation as Intermediary for Donations
The alternative method for organizations to manage their donations as part of Valley Gives 2018 is to use the Kimbia Foundation as the intermediary; this was the method used by everyone in 2017. With this method, donations are made to the Kimbia Foundation, rather than directly to your organization. As such, the tax receipt for donors will show “Kimbia”.
Your organization will receive a payment check by mid/late June from Kimbia, and

In terms of your GiveGab setup, the Bank Account setup item will remain unchecked until GiveGab sets up the account with Kimbia Foundation. As long as Valley Gives is notified by April 23 at noon, your organization will be ready to participate in Advanced Giving on April 26.
